Ascot Comfort Grackle Noseband Buckle Both Sides

Ascot Comfort Grackle Noseband featuring Quality Leather with Stainless Steel fittings.



This noseband is also known as a Mexican Grackle.



It is used to remind the horse to keep its mouth closed and helps prevent him from crossing his jaw, but provides more expansion of the nostrils, which is preferable for horses performing higher intensity work. This Grackle has a fluffy synthetic sheepskin centre pad and features leather discs behind the rings to help prevent the ring rubbing the cheek bones. The upper part of the noseband is beautifully padded and also raised, for a very smart look.

Should be fitted higher than a normal Grackle, above the cheek bones.



This Comfort style noseband can only be fitted to a Comfort headpiece, due to it having two shorter cheek straps rather than one that would go over the head. This method helps relieve poll pressure.
