Fine Quality English Leather Grackle Bridle with Stainless Steel Fittings.

A Superb Pressure Relieving Bridle.
The unique Comfort style of this Grackle bridle means that the noseband attaches either side of the head piece, with no strap going over the head, helping to relive poll pressure. The head piece is also shaped around the ears & padded over the poll for the perfect fit, and extreme comfort. This bridle also features very soft padding behind the Browband to complete the perfect look.

The High Ring Grackle noseband is also known as a Mexican Grackle.

It is used to remind the horse to keep its mouth closed and helps prevent him from crossing his jaw, but provides more expansion of the nostrils, which is preferable for horses performing higher intensity work. This Grackle has a fluffy sheepskin centre pad that can be trimmed if desired. An extra feature is leather discs behind the rings to help prevent the ring rubbing the cheek bones.

This noseband should be fitted higher than a normal Grackle, above the cheek bones.



The standard width bridle consists of:-

5/8"/16mm Cheeks, with a 1/2"/13mm Grackle nose and 7/8"/22mm padded Browband including padding width.
