Lemieux Stretch Hood

Your show day essential, this four-way stretch hood is technically crafted for the closest possible fit. Ideal as a dirt barrier on a newly groomed, bathed, or plaited horse, it protects the head and shoulders while allowing free movement.

With this kind of hood, exact fit is important, to keep movement on the horse to a minimum and eliminate rubbing. Thoughtfully designed with fit in mind, the hood’s fixings are minimal yet sturdy. A covered YKK zip, ending in an anti-lint hook and loop tape tab, firmly secures the neck from chest to chin. Meanwhile, loops on the panel between the front legs and an adjustable belly strap with durable clip closure give you options for precise fitting to your horse’s chest depth.

Generously cut eye holes will not rise when eating at low level, and a fully elasticated nose with LeMieux logo to the front delivers a neat fit on the face.
